I am a sociologist focusing on social inequality and family sociology, with a particular interest in gender disparities and labor market discrimination. My research further seeks to deepen our understanding of how multiple dimensions of inequality – such as gender, ethnicity, and class – intersect to shape social and economic outcomes. I use quantitative and experimental methods to answer my research questions.
I am currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Sociology at LMU Munich. Additionally, I am an associated researcher at the Cluster of Excellence “The Politics of Inequality” at the University of Konstanz, and a collaborator at the Center for Social Inequality Studies (CSIS) at the University of Trento.
Previously, I completed my PhD at the University of Trento and was a visiting researcher at the University of Konstanz. I hold a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Trento, as well as a Master’s in Sociology and Demography from Pompeu Fabra University.
My research has been published in journals including Sociological Science, European Sociological Review, and Research in Social Stratification and Mobility. I have received several awards for my work, including the 2026 ESR Best Reviewer Award, the 2024 FReDA International User Conference Best Presentation Award, and the 2023 Research in Social Stratification and Mobility Best Paper Award.
Recently, I received funding for a collaborative LMU-NYU research project titled “Unveiling Social Status Signals and Their Consequences: Evidence from a Cross-National Factorial Survey Experiment”, co-led with Katrin Auspurg and Guillermina Jasso.
